About 5 Factor Diet

Created by celebrity trainer, Harley, the 5 factor diet is centered largely around supposed celebrity testimonials and the number 5. In short, it uses a 5 week plan with 5 meals per day, 5 ingredients per meal, 25 minute workouts, and 5 cheat days, one per week. They claim to provide you with a daily meal planner, recipe box, food log, eating out guide, daily inspiration, etc to help you teach yourself better long term habits in order to maintain results. They even offer meal delivery for some so busy with life that they don’t have time to diet.

However, one thing that America has learned about many celebrities is that though they diet and exercise just like the rest of us, they also have the help of the scalpel, otherwise known as surgery. The 5 factor diet is sound in the idea of using 5 small meals per day to keep the body’s metabolism going. But you don’t need to pay $24.95 for the meal plan book and $14.95 for the workout book to understand that philosophy. The diet is based on common sense plans of eating smaller meals, healthier and nutrient dense foods like fruits and vegetables, etc, which again, nobody needs to pay to figure out. What it does not provide is any extra appetite suppressants, fat burners, or metabolic boosters that may help your body to stop sabotaging your diet efforts.

It was okay. But really, it wasn't worth paying for.

It doesn't give you any extra help. and the 25 minute workout defintiely isn't enough

I felt sick while I was trying to follow this diet, I couldn't go out at all with my friends, and really, it was just a waste of my time and money

I tried the 5 Factor Diet, and I thought it would be amazing. I lost a few pounds. But after the 5 weeks was up, I had no direction, and really I could've figured out that plan myself.
