About Acai Berry Select

The weight loss formula of Acai Berry Select uses 100% certified acai berries from the Amazon. It combines the effects of the acai berry extract with other ingredients such as caffeine, green tea, and chromium polynicotinate. By combining all these it claims that you can increase your fat metabolism, oxidize fat, decrease fatigue, and lose weight. The entire marketing scheme of Acai Berry Select is based on the acai berry. We took a closer look at the product to see what you’re really getting.

We’re not sure what difference 100% certified acai berries makes when compared to other acai berries. We suspect that it is all the same, but the website doesn’t provide any information on certified berries in comparison to other berries. We also found that acai berry extract is not the main ingredient. In fact there is more caffeine in this than there is acai berry. And honestly speaking, the acai berry does not promote weight loss anyway. It is rich in antioxidants and vitamins, but that has nothing to do with fat burning, appetite suppression, etc.

The two main weight loss ingredients persay are chromium and green tea. Chromium has been shown to regulate blood sugar levels, but the studies as far as weight loss goes are questionable at best. There is one study that was positive and others have failed to match this. Green tea has been show to increase metabolic levels. But it requires at least 400mg which unfortunately they don’t actually have.

It seems that this is another product to be caught up in the acai storm. It’s marketing is a bit misleading as it is more of a green tea product than an acai product. This product doesn’t actually have the right amounts of the good ingredients, and all in all, you would just be wasting your time with it.
