One of the newer family of stimulant free weight loss supplements, Accelis claims that you can “lose an average of 10.65 pounds fast.” What is fast, and why that particular? But bad marketing aside, Accelis uses a 30mg proprietary blend of lagerstroemia speciosa, caffeine free green tea, caffeine free white tea, chamomile, passionflower, soy phospholipids, etc. In case you were wondering, 30mg doesn’t even account for the minimum dose of green tea, and most of green tea’s weight loss benefits come from its caffeine content. Otherwise, we see a lot of natural sleep aids and not weight loss ingredients. The only study concerning Accelis is one conducted on Banaba leaf otherwise known as lagerstroemia speciosa, and in that individual study they used more than 30mg of banaba. One bottle of accelis will last you about 20 days if you only take 2 capsules per day, and it will cost you $22.95. And if you’re not sure yet, Accelis is a ripoff.
