BetaFuel

BetaFuel is actually an Ephedra based product. As the website advertises, “the forbidden fat-burning herb banned for being ‘too effective’-Ephedra- is available to the public again.” I thought it slightly amusing that they say it was banned because it worked too well. The truth is, ephedra was dangerous. There were many adverse health issues linked to it, and even some deaths were linked. There were definitely some reasons the FDA banned it.

Is Awe-Slim Still Available?

When I first looked at the BetaFuel website I was confused at how they were still selling this product. As my research revealed, it is actually no longer available. For a while the FDA ban was somewhat lifted, and small amounts of ephedra could be sold. That was how this product came about.

However, not much later the ban was reinstated for all amounts of ephedra. We see that as a good thing, and don’t think that BetaFuel would have been too successful anyway. It seemed to be a strong mix of different forms of caffeine and diuretics. If you’re looking to lose water weight than this product may have worked. For everyones sake we’re just glad the FDA ban was reinstated.
