Dtour Diet
Whenever I review a product like the Dtour Diet, I like to see what other reviewers have to say first. Sometimes, reviews provide more information and in depth analysis than the main website. After all, the writer/creator, in this case a group of doctors, would not want to give away all the secrets before you pay out.
And after researching the Dtour Diet, I have nothing. The Dtour Diet is marketed specifically toward people who have type 2 diabetes and want to control it with diet and exercise. It’s for people who want to avoid taking pills or shots of insulin. Who wouldn’t want to avoid a regular shot in the butt if possible?
From what I’ve seen, the Dtour Diet makers are happy to talk about patients who supposedly lost 10 inches of belly fat in 6 weeks. Makers are happy to tell you all about how you can supposedly eat sweet treats without blood sugar spikes to lose weight and improve health!
Medical Opinion
If you’ve talked to your doctor (assuming you have type 2 diabetes), I can guarantee that your doctor gave you a few pointers, some of which probably sounded pretty crappy. For example, your doctor may have mentioned that you should drop the soda, stay away from most cookies and candy, and you might want to try a low carb diet.
But if you haven’t noticed, your doctor never told you to start eating peanut butter cookies, chocolate chip cookies, candy, soda, and other sweets. Chances are, he even told you to skip on the artificial sweeteners when you can. So where does the Dtour Diet get the idea that it’s okay to encourage you to stick with the sweets to lower your blood sugar?
How Does the Dtour Diet Work?
The Dtour Diet as far as I can tell encourages you to eat more sugar, which would make type 2 diabetes worse. Yes, it may taste good right then. But is it really worth it? There are no magical ingredients in the cookies and other desserts that the Dtour Diet encourages you to eat that are going to help you to counteract the negative effects of either too much sugar or artificial sweeteners in your diet.
Unfortunately, the Dtour Diet makes it clear that it isn’t going to splurge on anything else. Yes, Dtour Diet was supposedly written by a group of doctors, including an endocrinologist. But let’s be honest. If the Dtour Diet is all that great, then obviously there’s nothing to hide. The Dtour Diet spends all its time dancing around the truth.
If anything, Dtour Diet does not sound at all like a low carb diet, which is actually the best diet for a person with type 2 diabetes. Go figure, Dtour Diet was supposedly written by doctors, and yet it’s clear that whoever wrote the book has no expertise whatsoever. A dieter off the street would know better.
Conclusion
The Dtour Diet appeals to everything that you want to hear. It promises fast weight loss, tasty sweets, and easy dieting. But when you take a moment to really look at it, the Dtour Diet doesn’t really tell you anything at all. Ti doesn’t tell you what you should be eating, foods to avoid, how many calories you’ll be eating, or anything that really matters when it comes right down to it. Don’t ignore the warnings. Yes, there are some good reviews of Dtour Diet. But if you haven’t noticed, those reviews really don’t tell you anything.
