SlimQuick is one of the few dietary aids that inform the potential consumer about the ingredients used to make up their formula. Some of the more noteworthy ingredients are green tea leaf extract, caffeine, yerba mate extract, and dandelion root. All of these elements have shown themselves to be able to give you an edge in your weight loss journey. The main source of effectiveness in these ingredients is the existence of caffeine. Caffeine has vast thermogenic abilities and can boost your metabolism high enough to add to your weight loss.

As for SlimQuick being the only product developed for woman, well, that is debatable. There are plenty of gender specific weight loss supplements that claim to address the unique needs of women. Sadly, most of the time, the ingredients in these formulas are the same as in any other and the “specificity” can only be found on the bottle. The high caffeine content is likely to give you some side effects, especially if you are not used to stimulants. You may experience jitteriness, nervousness, irritability, insomnia, and elevated heart beat. The official website also warns of possible side effects such as dizziness, sleeplessness, tremors, nervousness, and headaches. Overall we are unimpressed by SlimQuick and do not recommend it.

Cellfood Natural Weight Loss Formula uses a blend of ingredients that we listed above to help you lose weight. The Garcinia Cambogia is supposed to help control how your body reacts to carbs. It is supposed to limit the amount your body absorbs to help you control glucose levels. It has actually been shown to do that and is used in many diabetes medications. The weight loss benefits are still be debated.

The other ingredient, L-Carnitine, is great for your health, and can help maintain metabolism. However, it has not been shown to increase metabolism. When looking for a diet pill it is useful to increase it, maintaining it will not lead to weight loss results.

Those ingredients combined with the Cellfood formula make for a healthy drink mix. However, they will not make for a good weight loss formula. We suggest you find products that can provide higher concentrations of ingredients, and that actually have proven fat burners.

The reason that oolong tea is able to facilitate weight loss is due to its naturally high concentration of caffeine. Caffeine has the ability to increase your energy and to boost your metabolism so that you use more calories and expend them more quickly as well. Caffeine has been thoroughly researched by method of clinical trials. There is no doubt as to the power that caffeine can give a weight loss plan when it is implemented in doses that exceed 400mg.

Caffeine can cause some rather unpleasant side effects when used in larger doses. If you are someone who experiences caffeine sensitivity then you suggest you avoid any of the caffeinated weight loss tea beverages or supplements that include green tea extract in their formulas. Even if you are unaware of any sensitivity you should be warned that a large of caffeine in the system at one time can lead to such adverse effects as the jitters, insomnia, anxiety and headache. Too much caffeine can also act as a diuretic so those of you with a proclivity for stomach issues may want to avoid this as well.

Overall we aren’t convinced that Slim Tea is one of the best weight loss supplements available. Our issue isn’t so much with the capacity of the product itself but with the notion that it can be the singular means for your weight loss. That just isn’t true. If you are interested in added oolong tea to whatever your current weight loss schedule is we would suggest that you check your local grocery stores first. You will probably find an oolong tea option that has not been overpriced because of its “weight loss powers.” We do not recommend Slim Tea at this time.

We are not entirely sure where Slim 30 proposes it is getting its fat burning or appetite suppressing powers from. This product does not contain a single weight loss ingredient. Chinese hawthorn fruit may indeed be a valuable and all natural tool when it comes to boosting the health of your heart but it has never been proven or shown to have any fat burning or appetite suppressing capacity whatsoever. Oyster shell is basically another source of calcium, which is good, but irrelevant for reaching your weight loss goals. The only ingredient that could even be considered weight loss related, and that is still stretching, is sickle pod senna seed which is often used as a laxative. But any weight loss accomplished through laxative use is easily regained as it is only water weight.

Even more concerning than the lack of weight loss ability in these ingredients are the risks associated with them. Slim 30 is not safe to take if you have gastrointestinal problems, issues with inconsistency, loose stools on a regular basis, or if you have a history of drug or alcohol abuse. Potential side effects include dependency, loose stool, abdominal pain and diarrhea. It seems ridiculous that Slim 30 is asking you to purchase it for close to $54 since all it seems to be able to guarantee is some frequent (and potentially embarrassing) trips to the bathroom and maybe even a need for rehab somewhere down the line. We do not recommend Slim 30.

So how does it work? Caralluma Burn uses a blend of ingredients such as Caralluma Fimbriata, water, and cellulose. Really not a very diverse weight loss pill. It is really only designed to do one thing; help you eat less.
Caralluma Fimbriata comes from India and is used as a spice in many of their foods. It is supposed to be a very effective appetite suppressant when taken 30 minutes before your big meals. However, there have not been any studies that have linked it with weight loss. We found that people do lose weight with this, but we suspect it is more because of the Weight Management Program that come along with it.

The Weight Management Program gives diet tips and a weight loss program. By eating healthier people will automatically see weight loss. It is very doubtful that this one ingredient would be effective enough to really lead to weight loss on its own. We suggest you find products that have more than one effective ingredient, and that tell you how much is in it. This product does not actually give any information on how much of this magical famine plant is actually found in the pills.

All 10 of the above ingredients are patented for weight loss and are considered to be effective to some degree in a weight loss formula. This is a unique thing to find as many supplement manufacturers add “fillers” (useless and cheap ingredients) to their blends in order to pump up the ingredient catalog without having to shell out the cash for quality ingredients. Slim 10 also offers a 90 day money back guarantee if you are unsatisfied with their product. Advantra-Z is a compound in the same chemical family as the now banned ephedra. Ephedra was a powerful weight loss toll that, unfortunately, also caused some major health issues.

The patented products are extremely powerful and come with a host of warnings associated with them. This is not a product to be taken lightly. If you have stimulant or caffeine sensitivities this is not a product you should try. Possible side effects are insomnia, anxiety and headaches. Furthermore this product boasts of using 500mg of “authentic” hoodia gordonii. Hoodia is a completely useless ingredient that has gained fame but has not earned its reputation. Even more interesting is the fact that hoodia is currently unavailable for export as the South African government can banned exportation of this plant.

Slim 10 has a seemingly equal amount of pro’s and con’s. While most products are either all the way on our good list or all the way on our bad Slim 10 just leaves us puzzled. It has the potential to be a substantial weight loss tool but, at this time, the risks don’t seem quite worth the potential benefits. We would advise keeping your eye on this product for further studies but we don’t feel comfortable recommending Slim 10 at this time.

While the idea has some logic behind it we can’t find much to recommend Skinny Water over plain old tap water. EGCG is the main component of the effective green tea which has been thoroughly researched and conclusively proven to promote a powerful thermogenic response from the body and results in elevated fat burning abilities. Caffeine is also included and has had similar positive results in clinical trials. Skinny Water is not safe for those with pre-existing medical conditions or a family history of medical conditions (such as heart disease), those with caffeine sensitivities, those with high blood pressure, those with liver conditions, those that are using MAO Inhibitors or those with glaucoma. Some common side effects that users of Skinny Water have noted are insomnia, diarrhea, irregular heartbeat, dizziness, vomiting and headache.

Overall, Skinny Water is not a product that has sufficient support for its claims. This product has a pretty high price tag for something that most of us enjoy for free. You would think they’d have taken the time and effort to validate their product before hyping it to the public. At any rate, we do not recommend Skinny Water at this time.

CalTrap Calorie Inhibitor uses only two ingredients. These ingredients are in their proprietary blend, and only one of them is the weight loss ingredient. Konjac root is a fiber that is actually effective because of its glucomannan. This has been shown in studies to help people lose weight by helping them to eat less. The other ingredient is cellulose. This is mainly to keep the sprinkle consistency.   

Overall this product is better than many we have reviewed. We’re not sure how it will affect the texture of your food. It says it doesn’t, but that really depends on the foods you are eating. Now this will only work if you’re eating good portions and exercising. However, it is a safe way to lose a few pounds. This is not the best product we’ve reviewed, but if you like the idea of using a sprinkle to lose weight then this is a good option for you. Just remember that you need at least 1 gram of Glucomannan before each meal in order to be effective. That would mean two servings of this before each meal.
