Jackie Warner’s This Is Why You’re Fat

Featured on Bravo as a tough as nails trainer determined to help people to lose weight and get in shape, Jackie Warner now has her own diet book called Jackie Warner’s This Is Why You’re Fat. After all, that is how you make money. The show was called simply “Work Out”, and she was known to charge up to $400 for a single training session. But now, you can pay for the DVD once (and it is not $400) and get the same supposed results.
She does own her own gym. So you would figure that she could compress workouts (because her policy is shorter workouts) to help you to get the most out of the short amounts of time you have each day. After all, she has trained some of Hollywood’s best bodies, and just like us, most celebrities probably don’t want to spend all day working out.
What’s So Special About This Plan?
Jackie Warner’s This Is Why You’re Fat focuses on the idea that less is more. You don’t have to cut calories, you can plan for cheat meals every single week, and you only have to exercise for a few minutes a day. Oh, and fat is not bad, it’s only sugar that is actually bad. The only problem is that most of this has been disproven if anything. In other words, this is not necessarily the best diet to follow.
Cutting Calories/Not Cutting Calories
Some may say that Jackie Warner’s This Is Why You’re Fat does not require you to cut calories. But that’s simply not true. Jackie Warner’s This Is Why You’re Fat actually limits you to about 1500 calories a day, which is reasonable and even healthy. But considering the fact that a lot of people eat 3000 calories or more a day without even realizing it, this does require you to watch what you eat.
Fat is Not Bad, Just Sugar
Fat is bad, or at least bad fat is bad. If you’re focusing exclusively on good fat or almost exclusively, you are more likely to experience problems with heart disease, high cholesterol, and other serious health problems. Why do you think every doctor besides Dr. Atkins had such a serious problem with the original Atkins approach? Ironically, he was rumored to have died of heart disease. And cutting out an entire food group is a bad thing.
Short Workouts, a Few Minutes a Day
A few minutes a day? 15 minutes a day? Even with the best exercises, this would never be enough. Experts recommend at least an hour of regular cardio in one day. This can be balanced with muscle building, weight lifting workouts. But in order to burn fat, you do need at least 1 hour of cardio at least 3 times a week.
That’s about it. If anything, it’s easy to explain why Jackie Warner’s This Is Why You’re Fat doesn’t work. Everything about Jackie Warner’s This Is Why You’re Fat shows that there might be or is a potentially serious problem.
