Lipozene

When searching for a weight loss product, you want to be certain that it works first, right? Time tested ingredients, clinical research, and a wide variety of consumer reviews are important factors in choosing a product that’s right for you, which is why Lipozene has caught our attention.
Unlike so many other weight loss supplements that claim to be “new” and “revolutionary”, Lipozene is unique in the fact that it has been around for over 20 years. Although its formula has changed as science advances, Lipozene has plenty of clinical research under its belt to back each and every ingredient inside.
Additionally, Lipozene has been marketed all over late night TV, luring in customers with its seemingly irresistible “free trial offer.” Yet despite its popularity, we can’t help but be a little skeptical. Is it a scam? Does it work? Let’s cut to the chase and see how effective Lipozene can really be.
Lipozene Ingredients
Interestingly enough, Lipozene only promotes a single ingredient: Amorphallus Konjac root. This is a more scientific-sounding name for an ingredient known as glucomannan. Basically, glucomannan is a fiber extracted from the konjac root. Like most fibers, it has been shown to improve digestion and regularity, detoxify the body, and even lower cholesterol. However, consumers should keep in mind that glucomannan is not your typical fiber.
Glucomannan is one of a select few fibers that has been clinically proven to promote weight loss! More specifically, if you use at least 1000mg, it can suppress appetite, which is ideal when you’re trying to cut back on calories. This unique fiber combines with water, expanding in your stomach to trick your brain into feeling full for longer periods of time. Unfortunately, most products don’t use 1000mg, so most supplements don’t give you all of the potential benefits of glucomannan.
Because Lipozene manufacturers fail to provide consumers with a precise ingredient concentration on its website, it’s difficult to determine how much glucomannan is used in this formula and whether or not it will produce the weight loss results we’re hoping for. We also feel that you should be aware that Glucomannan, when used incorrectly, may result in uncomfortable negative side effects such as bloating, constipation, diarrhea, and gas.
Lipozene & Weight Loss
Interestingly, Lipozene relies on glucomannan, which is an appetite suppressant, to promote fat loss, but the Lipozene website describes itself as a big time “fat burner.” We don’t see any ingredients that would validate that claim, casting a small shadow of doubt on this product’s effectiveness.
Although glucomannan may be able to help you lose weight, don’t let the manufacturers trick you into thinking that it can help you lose extreme amounts of weight without dieting or exercise.
Conclusion
Lipozene is a fairly simple product, which we can appreciate, but overall, we were not impressed with the ingredients, nor with its claims to be extraordinary. Lipozene is your average weight loss supplement, and manufacturers have seriously overblown and misstated claims. Overall, Lipozene may make for a small tool in your arsenal of fat-fighting weapons, but there are definitely more reliable products on the market.
