Lipozene Review

Lipozene

Unlike so many other weight loss supplements that claim to be “new” and “revolutionary”, Lipozene is unique in the fact that it has been around for over 20 years.

Although its formula has changed as science advances, Lipozene has some interesting research under its belt.

When searching for a weight loss product, you want to be certain that it works first, right? Time tested ingredients, clinical research, and a wide variety of consumer reviews are important factors in choosing a product that’s right for you, which is why Lipozene has caught our attention.

Lipozene has been marketed all over late night TV, luring in customers with its seemingly irresistible “free trial offer.” Yet despite its popularity, we can’t help but be a little skeptical.
Is it a scam?

Let’s cut to the chase and see how effective Lipozene can really be.

Lipozene Ingredients

Interestingly enough, Lipozene only promotes a single ingredient: Amorphallus Konjac root. This is a more scientific-sounding name for an ingredient known as glucomannan. Basically, glucomannan is a fiber extracted from the konjac root.

Like most fibers, it has been shown to improve digestion and regularity, detoxify the body, and even lower cholesterol. However, consumers should keep in mind that glucomannan is not your typical fiber.

Glucomannan is one of a select few fibers that has been clinically proven to promote weight loss! More specifically, if you use at least 1000mg, it can suppress appetite, which is ideal when you’re trying to cut back on calories.

This unique fiber combines with water, expanding in your stomach to trick your brain into feeling full for longer periods of time. Unfortunately, most products don’t use 1000mg, so most supplements don’t give you all of the potential benefits of glucomannan.

Because Lipozene manufacturers fail to provide consumers with a precise ingredient concentration on its website, it’s difficult to determine how much glucomannan is used in this formula and whether or not it will produce the weight loss results we’re hoping for. We also feel that you should be aware that Glucomannan, when used incorrectly, may result in uncomfortable negative side effects such as bloating, constipation, diarrhea, and gas.

Lipozene & Weight Loss

Interestingly, Lipozene relies on glucomannan, which is an appetite suppressant, to promote fat loss, but the Lipozene website describes itself as a big time “fat burner.” We don’t see any ingredients that would validate that claim, casting a small shadow of doubt on this product’s effectiveness when it comes to helping you burn fat.

While appetite suppression is a great help in the battle against losing weight, it’s not really going to help you burn fat and build muscle to give you a great looking physique so many people are looking for.

You’ll find other diet pills that include glucomannan, but weight loss pills like Abidexin also include fat burners and other key ingredients that will help you burn fat and lose weight.

Although glucomannan may be able to help you lose weight, don’t let the manufacturers trick you into thinking that it can help you lose extreme amounts of weight without dieting or exercise.

Is Lipozene Safe?

Lipozene manufacturers tell you that this product only contains Glucomannan, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing for your health. It improves digestion, lowers cholesterol, and can help you cut back on calories without feeling starved all the time.

That being said, Glucommannan’s benefits don’t come without a cost. Taking too much fiber at once without giving your body time to adjust can have some rather unpleasant side effects, including the following:

• Irritability
• Constipation
• Diarrhea
• Stomach Upset
• Nausea

In order to keep side effects to a minimum, it’s best to gradually increase your fiber intake, working with your body and your individual needs rather than simply popping a pill and hoping it works. Since it is unknown how much Glucommanan is inside every serving of Lipozene, it’s difficult to determine how much to use without making yourself sick.

While manufacturers recommend that you take 2 capsules, 3 times a day before each meal (for a total of 6 capsules), you might want to start off with a smaller dose such as 1 capsule before every meal or even just 1 capsule a day to see how you feel.

You should not take Lipozene if you are pregnant or on any medications.

Fenphedra Advertisement

How Much Water Should You Drink?

Glucomannan soaks up a great deal of water in the stomach and can have laxative effects on the body. If you’re not careful, this can greatly increase your risk of dehydration. You’ll want to take at least 8 oz. of water with every serving of Lipozene at least 30 minutes before each meal, but you’ll always want to drink a good 8-10 cups of water a day (or more) to keep the side effects to a minimum.

Returns

Despite its popularity, many users end up return their order of Lipozene, as it often fails to live up to consumer expectations. Fortunately, manufacturers provide a money-back guarantee with Lipozene, but unfortunately that guarantee is fairly limited.

Consumers have a total of 30 days to return Lipozene for a refund, and you must first acquire a Return Authorization number from their customer service before returning your product, otherwise they won’t credit your account.

You can contact their customer service via phone at 888-220-8907, but their hours are only 5 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday (and 6 am to 2:30 Pm Saturday) – so you’ll have to call between those times or you’re out of luck.

Product Price

One of the great things about Lipofzene is that you can try it for only $29.95 through lipozene.com, so it’s not the most expensive product on the market, but if you shop around, sites such as Amazon.com will sell it for as little as $15.20 a bottle. Consequently, even if you fail to make the return in time for a refund, you won’t be completely breaking your bank on the product.

The Bottom Line

Lipozene is a fairly simple product, which we can appreciate, but overall, we were not impressed with the ingredients, nor with its claims to be extraordinary.

The idea is very appealing but you’ll probably see some better results with a product like Abidexin, which include a number of great ingredients that help you limit your appetite while also boosting your fat-burning potential so you see better results.

And the nice thing about Abidexin is that it comes with a money-back guarantee when you order it from Abidexin.com, you won’t get that from Lipozene either.

Lipozene is your average weight loss supplement, and manufacturers have seriously overblown and misstated claims. Overall, Lipozene may make for a small tool in your arsenal of fat-fighting weapons, but there are definitely more reliable products on the market.

Some people who used Lipozene have had problems with the automatic payments and getting those stopped, so if that’s your concern, Lipozene is available in some major grocery stores and then you know you won’t have to worry about additional charges.

Though Lipozene is probably going to help you eat less, by itself, it’s not the most effective weight loss pill to really help you lose weight.

I thought I was buying one bottle for $29.95. I got a box of a lot of different bottles and a bill for an extra $159.00. I immediately sent it all back to the company, called them and demanded my money back that they took from my credit card. Then, I called my credit card co. and told them not to allow any more charges from this co. The co. did credit my account for the original amt. Never again!!!

I’ve seen those late night ads for Lipozene, and the first thing that come to mind was “if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is”. They site “clinical studies” in the commercial, but don’t say who conducted the studies, or if the results of said studies were ever published. This is a company that is only interested in making money, as many of them are. I feel badly for people who spent good money for a bad product. Buyer(s)…beware!

You’ve got to be proactive. Then, if you remain proactive, you can achieve weight loss, even eating lots of food. As a boxer I’ve met men who we’re not boxers coming into the gym at an odd 200+ pounds… In fat. A couple years later they’re transformed and I mean skin tight transformed! The point is is that so many people look for a magic answer that’s going to fix all their problems. And by magic answer I mean magic pills for weight loss. You should do it right. If you’re going to take a weight loss pill YOU STILL HAVE GOT TO REMAIN PROACTIVE to burn calories, weight, and fat. Go get em

Any fiber that claims to fill one’s stomach, then have the directions for it to take several full glasses of water throughout the day is going to be problematic. As your stomach expands to accommodate the water, your appetite will diminish. And though there are benefits to taking fiber, it alone will reduce your desire to snack.

Also consider buying these prechopped carrots at the grocery. They make great snacks, are tasty, and they work as well as cookies and other hand-filling goodies.

RE: Lipozene Scam– Supply sent not 30 days worth as advertised–2 bottles = only 10 days worth for $29.95 and did nothing in 10 days!!! NO “free” “Metaboup” sent to me as advertised!!!!

Lipozene might help rich people (who can afford to spend HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS on Lipodeen) loose weight, BUT it does NOT work for seniors like me on FIXED LOW incomes!!!
It took me 3 months to accumulate the $29.95!

    1) the “FREE” Metaboup was NOT included in the package I received!!!

    2) The 2 bottles of Lipozene I received were 30 tablets in each bottle! Total 60 tablets for @29.95!

    3) Instructions say two (2) tablets three (3) times a day with equals = 30 tablets for five (5) days!!!! ONE bottle lasts only FIVE DAYS!!!! TWO bottles equals ONLY TEN DAYS!!!! DO the math yourself—two 30 tablet bottles at 2 tablets 3 times a day (6 tablets a day)last ONLY 10 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    4) 30 days worth of Lipozene is NOT what you get for $29.95. (30 days would cost $89.85!!!!!!!!!!!!) (I had assumed from the ad one bottle equaled 30 days and two bottles would be 60 days worth for $29.95—and that is SUPER EXPENSIVE enough on my income!!!!! I was willing to invest $29.95 for 60 days worth, BUT $29.95 bought ONLY TEN days worth!!!!! NO WEIGHT LOSS IN TEN (10) DAYS WHICH IS WHAT THE TWO (2) BOTTLES ADD UP TO!!! AND NO FREE “MATABOUP” SUPPLIED!!!!

I SAY SCAM even IF the Lipozene works for (in 2 or 3 months)someone who can afford the huge amount of money it would cost to take it for 3 months
