This service is a full meal plan delivery system that comes right to your front door each month. For the price tag of $326.26 you can have nutritionally balanced already prepped meals waiting for you in your kitchen each day. These meals have been portioned and calibrated to give you the most energy and nutrients possible while still maintaining a low calorie count for weight loss.

Nutrisystem offers a variety of program packages such as a women’s program, men’s program, women’s silver program, men’s silver program, women’s diabetic program, men’s diabetic program, and vegetarian program. They also have over 100 menu options that you can even mix and match, if none of the already planned meal schedules appeal to you.

This is a program that will need to be followed exactly as you are left to your own devices. Each meal has a certain amount of calories and eating more than suggested will result in higher caloric intake. This is true for the snack packages too. Furthermore, at a whopping $300 plus a month, Nutrisystem seems an awfully high expenditure for one person. Three person families can eat on $300 a month.

Overall, Nutrisystem doesn’t strike us as much more than a regular old diet plan. For about half the price you can do the research yourself and figure out how to cook and prepare well balanced meals and snacks. It’s not as daunting as it may seem. Still, if you are someone who is currently spending a large sum of money each month on eating out, we guess this would be a good substitute for you. We just don’t feel that Nutrisystem warrants a hearty recommendation at this time.
