Sensoril is a specific extract derived from an Ayurvedic plant called Ashwagandha, currently being patented by a company call Natreon.

According to the official site, Sensoril is the most amazing cortisol reducing, fat burning, stress reducing formula you’ve ever seen. Wait, rewind, we’ve heard all of this before.

It’s been said by companies like Cortislim, companies that got shut down by the FTC for a plethora of unsubstantiated claims. So why in the world would Sensoril even go there? Most companies that did it before used natural sleep aids and other relaxants that had nothing to do with weight loss. Why is Sensoril going to be any different?

Sensoril Has Other Clinically Proven Benefits

Technically, Sensoril does have clinically proven benefits that relate to weight loss. However, it has been clinically proven to provide some other benefits. For example, it has been clinically proven to fight problems with bipolar disorder in some patients. One study conducted at the University of Pittsburgh showed that it sharpened the senses, reduced anxiety, and fought common issues such as bipolar disorder in patients ranging from age 18 to age 65.

But that’s about it. Sensoril has never been tested in more severe disorders such as Parkinson’s disease, even though some believe that it can fight mental deterioration in patients with diseases such as Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s. There is hope for that. But it’s unlikely to promote weight loss any time soon.

Who Should Use Sensoril

• Ages 18 to 65
• Bipolar patients who are relatively stable
• Those with an 8th grade education or higher
• People who are currently on a mood stabilizer

Who Should Not Use Sensoril

• Patients with medically unstable conditions
• Known allergy to Sensoril
• Current cognitive decline due to dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, or other neurological disorders
• Pregnant or nursing women
• MMSE score of less than or equal to 23
• Abnormal thyroid status
• Those currently using St John’s wort, gingko, or omega 3
• Anybody who plans to use it to lose weight

Our Opinion of Sensoril

We are not very impressed with Sensoril. At least, not as far as its weight loss benefits go. It doesn’t have any that we can see. There may be good reason for someone to take this product, however, we do not recommend it to most people. We especially don’t suggest that anyone tries Sensoril without talking to their doctor first.
