Slimgenics

Are you looking for an entirely new way to lose weight? Have those unsuccessful attempts at losing weight left you wondering what else there is to try?

There is a company called Slimgenics that claims that you lose weight by following their weight loss program. Previously called Slim4Life, Slimgenics only sells in a few states, selling “individualized” diet plans that require a private consultation and in person coaching.

Starting with children as young as age 10 all the way up to adults and senior citizens, Slimgenics monitors your eating habits, provides supplements, and provides meal replacements that are meant to help you along the way.
The Pros

Slimgenics encourages participants to increase physical activity and exercise to maintain a healthy lifestyle. This lifestyle change should promote a healthy weight loss of about 3-5 pounds per week depending on the person.

That may not seem like a lot of weight, but losing weight at a slow and steady pace is actually the best way to lose weight. People who lose weight at a slow and steady pace are usually healthier and more likely to keep off the weight, Slow and steady wins the weight loss race.

This is a great part of the program because exercise should always be a part of your weight loss plan. Exercise not only helps you lose weight, it gives you a number of other benefits – cardiac health, decreased disease, and more energy.

You also get Personal one-on-one support by a weight loss professional. That way if you have any questions or problems, you can ask someone who knows how to help you. They can also give you a personalized answer to your problem, rather than a generalized suggestion.

The Cons

This is a very expensive program. Slimgenics technically does not list a price online, but customer reviews typically complain about a decently high price tag. You do get a lot for this price though, so you decide if it’s worth it to you.

Some complain about Slimgenics being hard, but isn’t losing weight hard? If it was really easy, we would all be skinny, right?

The End Story

Slimgenics is a diet plan that provides some grocery store based options and some great weight loss advice. There are other weight loss plans like this one out there, so we recommend looking around a little.

If you decide that this is the plan for you though, we don’t think you will be disappointed. If you can afford the price tag and you like your personal coach they provide, you are likely to see great results.

Just remember to keep your expectations realistic. You won’t lose all your weight overnight, but if you keep at it, the weight will come off eventually.
