Vita Slim

vita slimCan you imagine going to your local Rite Aid, buying a bottle of Centrum, and losing weight with it? You would have to combine it with a healthy diet and exercise plan of course.

Most can’t imagine this; especially considering the fact that thousands of Americans already do take multivitamins. So how in the world did products like Vita Slim break into the weight loss pill industry? We’re still trying to figure that one out.

The Benefits of Vitamins

Vitamins do have benefits, don’t get us wrong. Many vitamins are considered to be essential to better health and the basic functions of the body. If you are not getting the right amount of essential vitamins, you could begin to experience a lot of health problems. That’s a good enough reason to be taking a multivitamin.

But vitamins don’t magically help you to lose weight. On its face, Vita Slim looks like just another multivitamin, which means it won’t be able to help you lose a lot of weight. Maybe there is more to this product than meets the eye?

Other Vita Slim Ingredients

Vita Slim does have some other ingredients besides vitamins including Green Tea and caffeine. Both of these ingredients have the ability to suppress appetite and increase metabolism; when used in the clinically proven amount.

Vita Slim doesn’t have anywhere near the clinically proven amounts. It uses around 100 mg of Green Tea and 35 mg of caffeine. Both of these ingredients are only effective when used in the amount of 400 mg.

Is Vita Slim Safe?

You would think that this weight loss pill would be safe, considering the fact that it’s based on vitamins. But Vita Slim does have caffeine. So it can still cause caffeine-related side effects for people who are sensitive to the substance. It doesn’t take a large amount of caffeine either to do this.

Conclusion on Vita Slim

Vita Slim is one of a few products trying to push the “vitamins can help you lose weight” approach. One reason may be that vitamins are cheaper ingredients. In this case, Vita Slim charges $15 to sell you a $3-$5 multivitamin that happens to have a little bit of green tea (which is very inexpensive) and a little bit of caffeine.

We do not recommend that you try Vita Slim for weight loss. The multivitamin has other health benefits, obviously. But if you want to lose weight, we recommend that you look at one of the weight loss pills that we have given a high rating to. They have clinically proven ingredients, in clinically proven amounts.
