Accuslim

Accuslim Bottle

Accuslim claims they will promote weight loss by reducing carb cravings, decreasing fat storage, preserving muscle, and reducing appetite. The main ingredient listed is citrus aurantium, otherwise known as advantra-z. They promise 1-2 pounds weight loss per week. They say they use "some of the most well known and most effective-but hardly used weight loss nutrients."

The Good: The Accuslim formula is well put together in some places. It uses tea extracts, ginseng, garcinia cambogia, and advantra-z. They also provide a product label, so there are no mystery ingredients, and those with allergies can verify the absence of certain ingredients before purchasing. They also provide a number of testimonials with pictures, one of them from a world famous backstroke swimmer. Unlike many of their competitors, they also refrain from making outrageous weight loss claims like you will lose 60 pounds in 30 days or your money back.

The Bad: While Accuslim does not make outrageous claims about potential weight loss, they do make false claims. Their first is that they use effective but rarely used ingredients. They use advantra-z as their prime example, which is effective, and as such a high number of companies use it in their formula, making Accuslim really nothing special. The same applies to the rest of their ingredient list. On their website, they also state that results vary between individuals to the point that some users don't see results until 60 days after they begin use. For those of you with that much patience, you amaze me. But when it comes to diet pills, my patience runs out after about 7 days if I see no results at all. They provide no studies or other evidence to back up their claims, and to add insult to injury, they do not offer a money back or satisfaction guarantee.

The Skinny: Accuslim makes claims of being a "fast acting" dietary supplement, but if you look closely enough they then tell you that some users won't see results for as long as 60 days. In whose world is that fast? They use a popular list of ingredients, but obviously not one that will really produce results.
