Lipocerin

Lipocerin Bottle

Lipocerin promises a weight loss of 20 pounds in 30 days, which is certainly more reasonable than some companies are promising lately. They tell you this is the year, the year that you will finally lose that fat that's been plaguing you for years. And they use statistics, like the fact that 10% of people they surveyed were taking some kind of dietary supplement to try to lose weight. They take the approach that the extra fat is not your fault, because you are trying.

The Good:To achieve the results promised, Lipocerin uses hoodia gordonii, chromium, kola nut, grapefruit, guarana, gymema, caffeine, and chickweed. Incase you are not satisfied, they also offer a 30 day money back guarantee. And like any company hoping to get any business at all, they have testimonials with pictures included.

The Bad:When visiting the lipocerin website, I would bet you can figure out what the first red flag in my head was: the free trial offer. I hate free trial offers. They are disgusting marketing ploys used by companies who overcharge you and then rope you into an autoship program you may or may not realize you are in for a product usually not worth its weight in salt. You are paying for that product whether you realize it or not. I personally would rather have no free trial offer, but a lower overall price for the remainder of time which I choose to spend buying their product. My second red flag was the hoodia gordonii. There are certain companies out there now claiming to use "certified hoodia", and some of them do. Some of them actually have proof of that certification. Lipocerin doesn't even try. So that tells me that 99 times out of 100, their hoodia is as fake as it comes. And with the 30 day money back guarantee, I am sure they are hoping that you will take the full 30 day supply and then try to return it. Because when you do, the 30 days will already technically be past, and they will tell you sorry you are too late. And my final red flag on this product(though I'm sure I could find many more)is the "clinical proof." For any company offering "clinical proof" I like to see it for myself. What usually happens is they have cited a clinical study that no one can find anywhere but their site, a clinical study done on but one of their supposed ingredients, studies that when you do find them are inconclusive or don't actually prove squat, or a clinical study done on a formula supposedly similar to the one they use. In one case, I even saw a company post a study they did supposedly on their own product(anybody hear bias), and they had none of the prerequisites for a valid study like being placebo controlled, double blind, basically fair. Lipocerin gives you studies done on 2 of their ingredients, and one of them was conducted to study the ingredient's effect on diabetes, not weight loss.

The SkinnyAll in all, lipocerin is what we call a cheap product. It uses cheap and run of the mill ingredients. Add to that one of the ingredients likely isn't even the real mccoy. For those hoping to lose 1-2 pounds a month, that can be accomplished by diet and exercise and without spending the $59 required to buy lipocerin. For those more serious about losing weight, there's no reason to think this supplement is the one to help you.
